Two people were injured in a fire that broke out at a warehouse of a chemical factory in Chiayi County in the early hours of today, the fire bureau said.
The fire at the plant in Shuishang Township (水上鄕) was reported at around 1am today.
The fire bureau promptly dispatched 18 vehicles and firefighters to the scene.

The blaze was under control at 3:30am and was extinguished at about 6am.
Two men who helped in extinguishing the fire were burned and were hospitalized.
No one was trapped in the factory.
The factory located in Liuzilin (柳仔林) belonged to the Nan Yang Chemical Co. (南陽化學工業).
The warehouse next to the factory stored many plastic products and semi-manufactured goods.
The fire spread quickly in the 1800-square-metre large factory which was burnt to the ground.
The office nearby was not affected.
An investigation is underway to determine the exact cause of the blaze.
The public is advised to put on a mask when they go out and be aware of the air quality.
