Taiwan High Speed Rail Corp (THSRC) is to hold its annual blood donation drive at stations across its rail network on Fridays next month, the company said yesterday.
In a news release, THSRC said the blood drive would kick off at its Nangang headquarters and the HSR stations in Hsinchu and Changhua on Nov. 3, followed by Yunlin and Zuoying (Kaohsiung) stations on Nov. 10.
Blood donations would also be collected at HSR stations in Taipei, Miaoli, Chiayi and Tainan on Nov. 17, and at the Banciao, Taoyuan and Taichung stations on Nov. 24, between 9:30am and 4:30pm.

Donors who give 250ml of blood during the drive would receive a free HSR neck pillow, while those who give 500ml would get an additional surprise gift, the company said.
THSRC has organized annual blood drives in Taiwan since 2012, which have collected more than 22,000 bags of blood from more than 17,000 individual donors.
