The pass covers the Kaohsiung MRT rail system, city buses, coach services within the city, the light rail line, ferry services and the first 30 minutes of YouBike rentals, it said in a statement.

Also in July, Kaohsiung, Tainan and Pingtung City are to launch a monthly pass covering public transportation in all three municipalities for NT$999, the Kaohsiung City Government said.
The Tainan City Government yesterday said that it would roll out a NT$299 monthly pass covering city buses and the first 30 minutes of YouBike rentals late next month.
Tainan also plans to begin offering a NT$399 pass that includes local TRA trains, likely to start in July, it said.
