Taiwan today take on Venezuela, while the US play Japan. Tomorrow, Taiwan play the US before facing Japan on Saturday. Taiwan manager Tseng Hao-jiu yesterday told reporters at a news conference in Tokyo that the practice was critical for the team to get to know the Tokyo Dome, WSBC’s Web site said. “Teamwork took us here. We must keep working as a team to succeed in the Super Round. I’m happy and honored to be in Tokyo. We will have a chance to rechallenge Japan, the No. 1 team in the world, and make history, having the best result in the history of our baseball,” he said.
