Keelung City players celebrate after beating the Taipei-based Taiwan Giants 19-5 at the Taiwan International 10’s Rugby Cup Final at Bailing Sport Park in Taipei’s Shilin District yesterday. Teams from China, Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore, South Korea, Thailand and Vietnam competed against local sides on Saturday and yesterday. Omura Takeshi beat Tainan 7-5 in the men’s Plate Final, while the Samurais defeated the Fivewoods 10-7 in the Bowl Final. In the Women’s Cup Final, the Bomber Women’s team beat the Bedok Kings Skyllas 5-0 and the Omura Takeshi Vets defeated the Taipei Silverbacks 5-0 in the Vet Cup Final.
