清清：華華，你知道3月29號是什麼日子嗎？
Qīngqing: Huáhua, nǐ zhīdào sān yuè èrshíjiǔ hào shì shénme rìzǐ ma?

華華：是青年節啊！我爸媽常說以前青年節還放一天假呢！
Huáhua: Shì Qīngnián jié a! Wǒ bàmā cháng shuō yǐqián Qīngnián jié hái fàng yìtiān jià ne!
清清：我是最近看到一百多年前，年輕人為了自由民主犧牲的故事，才注意到的。
Qīngqing: Wǒ shì zuìjìn kàndào yìbǎi duō nián qián, niánqīng rén wèile zìyóu mínzhǔ xīshēng de gùshì, cái zhùyìdào de.
華華：所以我們的青年節是在3月29號，來紀念這些參加革命的青年。
Huáhua: Suǒyǐ wǒmen de Qīngnián jié shì zài sān yuè èrshíjiǔ hào, lái jìniàn zhèxiē cānjiā gémìng de qīngnián.
清清：在中國也是同一天嗎？
Qīngqing: Zài Zhōngguó yěshì tóngyìtiān ma?
華華：不是，中國的青年節是在5月4號，那又是另一個特別的故事了。
Huáhua: Búshì, Zhōngguó de Qīngnián jié shì zài wǔ yuè sì hào, nà yòu shì lìng yíge tèbié de gùshì le.
清清：喔！我應該多念念歷史了，也應該多了解世界上各個國家的歷史和文化。
Qīngqing: Ō! Wǒ yīnggāi duō niànnian lìshǐ le, yě yīnggāi duō liǎojiě shìjiè shàng gège guójiā de lìshǐ hàn wénhuà.
華華：對！因為我們都是好青年，永遠的25歲，是吧？
Huáhua: Duì! Yīnwèi wǒmen dōu shì hǎo qīngnián, yǒngyuǎn de èrshíwǔ suì a! Shì ba?
翻譯 Translation
Qingqing: Huahua, do you know what day March 29 is?
Huahua: It’s Youth Day. My parents often say that in the past, people even got a day off for it.
Qingqing: I only recently learned about it after reading stories from over 100 years ago, where young people sacrificed themselves for freedom and democracy.
Huahua: That’s why our Youth Day is on March 29, to commemorate those young people who participated in the revolution.
Qingqing: Is it on the same day in China?
Huahua: No, in China, Youth Day is on May 4. That’s another special story.
Qingqing: Oh. I should study more history and learn more about the histories and cultures of different countries.
Huahua: Exactly. Because we are good young people—forever 25, right?
