Delivery charge

The company promises to deliver the orders within 24 hours of receiving them.
Shipping fees are calculated based on order amount or by distances.
If your order is over NT$200, we’ll waive your delivery charges.
Delivery person
Extend
Foodpanda currently operates in eleven cities in Taiwan and plans to expand its services to other cities.(Foodpanda
expand(擴展,擴張)和extend(延長,延展),兩個單字在拼法和字義上容易混淆。
Foodpanda plans to extend its service hours to 2am.
(Foodpanda
Please return your rental car by 5pm. on the contract date. Otherwise, the contract will be automatically extended for one more day.
Withdraw
Marks & Spencer withdrew from Taiwan only 18 months after its launch.
除了withdraw from the market 外,也可以用halt operations(停止營運),halt 為動詞,意思是「停止」。
Jimmy withdrew NT$1000 dollars from the bank.
Honestbee decided to halt operations in Taiwan.
(Honestbee
1. The new governor promised his voters ______ the pension reform.
(A) expediting

(C) to expedite
(D) expedited
2. Once we receive your call, a ______ will be dispatched immediately to pick up your parcel.

ˇ What do you think of the movie? χ How do you like the movie? χ How do you think of the movie? 註︰What do you think of = What is your opinion of。 think 的受詞是 what,不能用 how。 2. ˇ Which singer do you think is the best? χ Do you think which singer is the best? 註︰英語中 which singer 似乎是 do you think 的受詞,實則 do you think 是插入語,其他例子如下: 你以為他喜歡誰? Who do you think he likes? Where do you think I live? Whom/Who do you think I met in the park yesterday? 3. ˇ No matter where he goes, he
