A: According to demographers, India is set to surpass China as the most populous country in the world this month.
B: How many people do the two countries each have?
A: They each have a population of over 1.4 billion. Together, they account for over one third of the world population of 8 billion. Isn’t that amazing?

B: Well, more people means a greater labor force and market, and the title of the world’s biggest country sounds pretty cool!
A: No wonder the government has encouraged people to have babies.
