A picture showing how police in Jiji Township, Nantou County, are fighting speeding along Provincial Highway 16 has been popular on a Facebook group recently. The picture details the fixed and mobile speed controls along the road, and Internet users have praised the picture for being very “professional,” saying that posting it is “a good deed.” In less than one day, over 200 people liked the photo, which was widely shared. The police says the locations showed on the picture are mostly correct, and that if the picture will make drivers pay attention and slow down, that would be a good thing, adding that they will not get further involved in the issue.
The picture was posted by Internet user Lin Tung-tung in the group “I am from Nantou, and I am also from Shuili.” The picture shows all the fixed speed cameras and mobile speed controls along Provincial Highway 16. Not only does it clearly show the road section’s kilometer mark, it also specifies if the controls work in both directions or one way only and if the speed control is mounted on a tripod or is hand-held.

這張「打鳥地圖」由網友「林東東」在「我是南投人…更是水里人」發布,圖上標示台十六線沿路的測速照相桿與警方取締超速地點,不僅路段公里數一目了然,連雙向、單向、三角架、手持式也一一註記。

The Lord returned home after a long day of hunting, a deer on his horse and a bow on his back. His apprentice had stayed behind, feeling unwell. He rode slowly through the forest, closed his eyes, and felt the warm sunlight on his face. He opened his eyes to a full moon rising. Time to make offerings and pray for peace, good weather, a bountiful harvest. And a child with his beloved wife. He smiled. As he approached, the house was quiet. Too quiet. He dismounted in the empty courtyard. “Feng Meng?” he called. Silence. He went to his apprentice’s
Strawberries are one of the fruits that signal the start of winter. Although “berry” is included in the name, a strawberry isn’t actually a berry in the __1__ sense of the word. True berries, such as blueberries and cranberries, have seeds inside the fleshy part of the fruits. If you look at a strawberry, you’ll see what seem to be seeds on the outside of the fruit. This __2__ makes strawberries fall into a category known as an aggregate fruit. It’s easy to see where the __3__ comes from. In everyday language, almost any small, juicy, edible fruit is called
You can’t help but notice the woman’s blonde hair, blue eyes, and bizarre outfit. She’s in a white dress that reaches below the knee and a Prussian blue jacket highlighted by a brooch on a ribbon at the collar. Together with her leather boots and the brown suitcase in hand, her overall look gives her an air of mystery. This distinctive appearance isn’t merely for style; it’s her way of embracing cosplay. Combining the words “costume” and “play,” cosplay is an art form in which participants dress up as specific characters, usually at anime conventions. It not only involves
