While Kinmen County’s first McDonald’s restaurant is to officially open today, many people in the outlying county tried its food during the restaurant’s soft opening yesterday.

To celebrate its expansion into Kinmen, McDonald’s Restaurants Taiwan Co Ltd (台灣麥當勞) collaborated with local artist Wu Chi (吳騏) to create illustrations featuring tourist attractions, such as Taiwu Mountain (太武山), the Guningtou archway and the Wind Lion, the company said.
