With campaigns for the nine-in-one elections on Nov. 29 in full swing, a number of candidates have drawn more public attention with a little help from their attractive offspring or assistants.
Among them is Ouyang Nini (歐陽妮妮), the eldest daughter of former actor and Chinese Nationalist Party (KMT) Taipei City Councilor Ouyang Lung (歐陽龍).
The 12th-grader has been campaigning for her father and often receives requests from people who would like to take a picture with her at campaign events.

Ouyang Nini has also appeared in several TV shows and commercials, which have helped raise her father’s profile.
Another example is Chen Ssu-yu (陳思宇), daughter of Taiwan Solidarity Union Taipei City Councilor Chen Chien-ming (陳建銘) and a graduate of National Taiwan University’s Graduate Institute of National Development.
Chen Ssu-yu has never had a problem engaging in a lively conversation whenever someone tries to talk to her, which has helped leave a good impression on many who have met her.
