The ninth annual Taiwan Cricket Tournament scheduled for this weekend is shaping up to be the best yet, organizers said.
Four teams will compete in a 16-over format on Saturday and Sunday, with the top teams fighting it out in an 18-over final on Sunday afternoon.
The Formosa Cricket Club will face the Pakistan Cricket Club Taiwan (PCCT) at Pingtung’s main baseball ground on Fuxing S Road from 10:30am to 1:30pm on Saturday, while Taiwan Southerners Cricket Club (TSCC) take on the Pakistan Badshaws from 10:45am to 1:45pm at the Taisugar baseball ground on Taitang Road, Pingtung.
The same afternoon, TSCC play PCCT from 2pm to 5pm at the main baseball ground, while the Badshaws take on Formosa Cricket Club from 2:30pm to 5:30pm at the Taisugar ground.
On Sunday, the tournament moves to Kaohsiung, when PCCT play the Badshaws from 8:30am and FCC face TSCC from 11am at the Yang Ming baseball ground on Yihua Road.
The final is scheduled to start at 1:45pm at the Yang Ming baseball ground.
